Parr Street play area - Nov 20

Just down from Harbord street is Parr street play area.

It's water themed with fish and ducks on the floor.

It's primarily for younger children with a couple of larger pieces for older children: a net swing and a hanging spinner.

There are a couple of novel things, firstly a game of snakes and ladders using a spinning dice and the climbing frame has step up and downs which we've not seen in any other parks.

However the standout equipment that we hadn't seen before is a roundabout which spins but there are also two individually spinning disks so it's a pretty close sensation to the teacups - certainly left me nauseous enough.

Parking - on street

Toilet - None but about 10minutes walk from Sainsburys

Cafe - there are a few cafes and takeaways dotted around but all seemed shut on the Sunday afternoon we visited. Sainsburys also has a cafe.
